Due to the pandemic, Georgia has lost a considerable amount of revenue from international travel - losses for I-II quarters of 2020 amount to about 1.1-1.2 billion USD. It is very important that tourism plays a significant role in the Georgian economy - 8% of GDP, which is about 3 times higher than the world average, which gives us reason to think that the Georgian economy is facing a very big crisis.
